We use stand-ups and all-hands regularly as a way for the team to learn more about what is happening around the company and to gain context on.

Every week we will have the following:

Weekly standup

We will do weekly async standups on Monday. The purpose of this is to give teams context of the items that will be worked on, that week. This will be done async and there should be enough context there that anyone in the org can understand the purpose why that item is being worked on and how it will impact the product or team. This is different to the weekly standups that each respective department will do these are synchronous and will happen every Monday. You should highlight any blockers in the weekly standup.
